Today it is Good Friday.
For the Christian it is the day we remember what Jesus did for us.
It can be confronting, and can cause all different emotions to arise in us.
The movie clip I have chosen to share is not one some would like to see. However this is part of the message of Easter and is what we are invited to remember on Good Friday, the day of the crucificion of Jesus Christ.
Each year on Anzac Day we are invited to remember the sacrifices of so many, and to be thankful for the freedom we currently experience because of their sacrifice.
Each year at Easter the Christian is invited to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made; for each and every one of us; so that we can be saved from the consequences of sin and enter into eternal life.
We don't get to heaven because of what we've done, we get there because we acknowledge what Jesus did, and because we choose to believe in Him and follow Him.
