Change is Coming!

Over the last few months I have been sensing within me that change is coming...

The past six years have been a dormant time for me as far as ministry goes as I've gone through the pain of divorce and all that involves...

Before then I was travelling this beautiful country Australia and involved in some wonderful ministry opportunities. On the outside life for me looked wonderful!

But unfortunately I also got caught up in the ' busy' and in looking after others while neglecting myself. The results were destroying in so many ways!

Over these past years I have had to travel a very different journey.... a journey of grief, repentence and forgiveness. A journey of pure grace and a re understanding of who I am deep down. It hasn't been an easy journey but it is one I have grown to be thankful for.

And you know, that can really only happen with God. He is the One who brings beauty out of the ashes and joy out of mourning! (Isaiah 61:3)

He's also given me amazing support through my family, friends and counselors. I thank each and every one of you with all of my heart.

So like I said..... a sense of change is coming.... I can feel it in my spirit. And, like always, it has come through my writing. I've journaled and jotted and typed and dotted a lot through these years! And somehow God uses this to speak to me.

Once again He wants me to use this gift of writing, that He gave me, to bless others.

So here I am, getting up in ministry once more, because God has let me know He is not finished with me yet... indeed He has only just begun!

My written version of what I have been through over the past 6 years is in my poem "The Storm". I know this poem will resonate with many and will encourage those going through their own storms in life... those times that seem dark, those times where we can't see and we're just hanging on for life. God is with you even though you can't see Him at times and no matter how bad the storm is, it will pass and you will see the light of day once more!
