I love Christmas! I love that we are free to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this is widely accepted even for those who aren't Christians. I love the spirit of giving at Christmas and the joy that comes from giving. I love that there are organisations and individuals that keep an eye out for those less fortunate and alone at this time of year. I love that it is a time where families make a special effort to get together.
Yes I know there are negatives to Christmas, I recognise the commercialism and the temptation to overspend. I recognise the pressure it can put on families and individuals.
Yet I challenge all of us that it doesn't have to be this way. We can enjoy this celebration of our Lord's birth without entering into all the commercialism. We can think of creative ways to give and bless our loved ones and those we know who are doing it tough.

You might want to check out my flat baubles too, as one of these fits nicely inside a card and can be posted at no extra cost. The baubles can be personalised or there are premade Christmas designs available in a variety of colours. They are so pretty and will look lovely hanging from the Christmas tree.
